Both of my cats love this!! And, it’s perfect because my female kitty loves bopping the chick, and my male loves playing with the feathers. It hasn’t broken down in the many months I’ve had it, and it’s pretty stable when they hit it.

The way it works is when you turn it on, it'll run for 5 minutes, then turn off for 10, then turn back on for 5 minutes before shutting off until you push the button again. This is to keep cats from becoming accustomed (and thus bored) of it, and to make sure the battery doesn't die in a day.

This has 3 different modes
Keeps my cats entertained. They watch the little chickens pop up and the other feature is the feather function. At the bottom of the unit there are feathers that poke out and then hide. You can do just one of the features or all 3. I change it so they don’t do the same thing every day.
